Increase in Scams ...
There has been an increase in Money Scams recently, where text messages and emails are sent in your Minister's name asking recipients to buy some Google Play cards or other forms of gift card for them to the value of £200. Once the recipient agrees then more are requested. There seem to be a number of scams using Christian terms at the moment. Please be very careful. Never reply to such a text or email. Rather contact the person by a different means to check. Your Ministers will not ask you to purchase gift cards on their behalf by email or text. Please let us know if you receive such an email or text.
